About SPI Water Sports
South Padre Island Water Sports, LLC. was created in 2011 to provide residents and tourists of South Padre Island, Texas with a complete water sports outfitter. South Padre Island (SPI) Water Sports offers lessons, rentals, and repairs for a broad range of watersports in the Laguna Madre Bay and Gulf of Mexico. Kayaking, kiteboarding, surfing, stand up paddleboarding, water bikes, skimboarding and boogie boarding are the activities that SPI Water Sports focuses on intently. We strive to provide you with an excellent resource for information, fair and reasonable prices, and excellent service.
Our Waterfront
We have our our private boat ramp which is where we start you out on rentals for kayaks, paddle boards and water bikes as well as stand up paddle board lessons. Our ramp drops into a protected channel which is perfect for calm flat water to go play on. Don't worry about transporting your rental gear as we have it all ready for you right at the waters edge.
South Padre Island
South Padre Island is a year round destination for beach goers, kiteboarders, fisherman, spring breakers and tourists in general. We offer many activities to add great memories to your next vistit to South Padre Island.

Most rentals are first come first serve. Lessons and tours require a reservation.
